In January 2020 my daughter and I took a road trip up to Birmingham Alabama to visit the city and surrounding hills. In the dark of night, dead of winter as a freezing rain starts the pierce through the black sky having the time of our life’s exploring the shadows and back streets while the rest of the city sleeps.
My buddy Yort and I got together to create some shots for his social media one night around his back yard. The shots came out dark and moody and I fell in love with the overall vibe.
The navigation of a year of ups and downs as seen from my first person perspective looking down at well… my feet. I took a series of photos of my feet on different adventures, travels, assignments, and periods over the course of 2020. From the damp streets of New Orleans to the quiet streets of New York to the beautiful temperate rain forests of the Pacific Northwest and everything in between my feet tromped through it all.
A few samples from an on-going portrait series depicting the problems facing the less fortunate and the hurtles we need to get over as a society in helping the homeless and mentally ill stuck on the streets.
Entrepreneur, international model, producer and all around bad ass JR Abernathy and I try to get together every so often while he’s in my area to create some content for his social media channels.
Sara with her Rapunzel length hair is quite the local celebrity in the Pensacola area. A writer, chef and model I am always honored to work with her.
It’s no secret that New Orleans is one the the greatest cities in the world and I am fortunate to live so close to this great place. There are so many things that make it great from it’s historic French architecture to it’s amazing culinary delights. However this on-going series is a tribute to the “People” that make the city truly great.
Urban exploration is one of those activities that make me feel like a kid again. Stepping into halls of the past, flashing a light into the unknown with excitement and fear running through my core. This high lights a on-going personal project for an upcoming blog series featuring abandoned and forgotten places through out the South Eastern United States.
Elizabeth Braley a Wilhelmina Model based out of Miami grew up in Pensacola. It’s always a pleasure to get with her and create on personal projects. She always brings so much creativity to the project.

My happy place, heaven on earth, the very reason I’m still in Florida. Florida Springs yet more specifically the springs in the Panhandle close to my home are all each dear to my heart. Growing up in these cool, clear waters I developed a deep and personal appreciation and connection for these fragile water sources. Not just for the beauty and uniqueness of each spring but the very fact they are our source for the water we drink. The very life blood of our species flows freely from these blue portals into the underground aquifer system and therefore need to be protected.
Truly a modern day mermaid/water woman Amanda has helped me on more difficult projects than any of my other associates. A military veteran, professional freediver and all around badass human being I am so glad to have her expertise on any project.
The North Florida Springs are some of the most beautiful in the world.
My love for these gentle angels of the open blue has no end. To get to be able to observe them within their natural habitats is a true blessing and one I never take for granted. Working with conservation agencies on local and state levels I take pleasure in every moment I can get to be with them while taking pictures in hopes to educate and raise awareness of the conservation efforts in place to protect these beautiful creatures.
There is something poetic about these mindless yet hypnotic creatures. I have dedicated countless hours drifting and swimming along with these invertebrates watching as the pulse and sway in the currents.
In October 2018 in the shadow of Hurricane Michaels increasing wins the owner/captain of the Donna Kay beached his boat in hopes to keep it from the deep clutches of the sea. I originally found the ship wreck scanning damage from Hurricane Michael a few weeks after the storm. Once roads were cleared and the area was allowing visitors I went down to Cape San Blas Florida with my cameras, and lots of bug spray and set out to capture the Donna Kay in all her beauty.
